The Big Homecoming : Atlanta

Big HBCU Tingz happened in the ATL over the long Juneteenth weekend! The Big Homecoming Atlanta popped off in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday June 17th through Saturday June 18th at the Lakewood Amphitheater! Everybody was outside this weekend! If you have ever seen or even heard of HBCU Culture then you know homecoming is filled with thrilling performances, bomb food, and Black University love!

Sponsored by the Illustrious Clark Atlanta University the big homecoming featured classic old school artists to cater to Alum all around the area!

Saturday there were live vocal performances from hit artists like Lil Duval, Jeezy, and DJ sets from THE Jermaine Dupri. Let me tell you the weather was HOT, but the event was hotter. The best of the event happened on Friday where the 365 Impact Initiative took over the CAU Campus! 365 Impact Initiative targeted High School students, college students, and college graduates with a Convocation with special guest speakers, performances, HBCU roll call, and much more. Also featured was a College Fair and Career & Recruitment Fair with partners Allstate, Walmart, Wellso, Spotify and more.

365 Impact for HBCUs by visiting them throughout the school year implementing events and activations focused on Entrepreneurship, Financial Wellness, Health & Wellness, Recruitment, Leadership Development and Technology. Needless to say, this event had influence and entertainment!
