Robin Thicke Drops New Album, “On Earth, and in Heaven”

Singer-songwriter, and producer, Robin Thicke, just dropped his new album, “On Earth, and in Heaven” last Friday! There’s upbeat love ballads with “Hola” and “Lola Mia”, and slow-paced love songs with “Take Me Higher” & “Forever Mine”. In an Instagram caption on Jan. 5, Thicke explains “This is an album about the people who aren’t here and the people who are here that made me who I am. This music is the sunshine coming out after the rain. Can’t wait for you all to hear it.” The album’s first single “Beautiful” dropped on Jan. 15 with an official lyric video available to stream on YouTube! I would categorize this album as “feel good” music, for my listeners who are in relationships, hopeless romantics, and who just want a nice tune to enjoy. The album is 11 tracks with no features.

Thicke celebrated the release of “On Earth, and in Heaven” with a live performance at Dodger Stadium for charity, where he performed songs from the album. He also dropped a music video for “Look Easy” the day before the album’s release so be sure to check it out!
