Nickelodeon’s Dan Schneider In Trouble for Sexual Allegations

Hollywood has been known for its massive scandals. Years ago, actor Corey Feldman and his acting partner Corey Haim shocked the world when they revealed that they had been abused by some of Hollywood's top Executives and Agents. “I was surrounded by pedophiles. Literally surrounded. They were everywhere.” Feldman dubbed this the “pedophile ring.” It isn’t surprising considering other allegations later came to light. Different Strokes actor, Todd Bridges, suffered from sexual abuse after constantly being left with adults during the time he was filming. He would later go on to attribute the abuse as the cause for his developed drug addiction. . He has no shame in letting others know about sexual abuse (his included), and how kids can be blind to perverts in the industry. These scandals have opened the doors for yet another twisted scandal, seeing that he’s one of the biggest producers of children’s entertainment.

Dan Schneider, a former actor and producer at Nickelodeon, has been the subject of rumors for years about his relationship with underage teens. He is the reason for the success of many household names over the last 20 years. He’s produced and written shows for actresses such as Jamie Lynn Spears (Zoey 101), Ariana Grande (Victorious/Sam & Cat), Amanda Bynes (All That/The Amanda Show), Victoria Justice and more. Some of the rumors have included his foot fetishes and how he would act them out on extras in his office. Some have said that it is very noticeable if they were to watch his shows. Others have alleged that Schneider would reward those who listened with spin-off shows, while others would get blacklisted if they didn’t listen. Over the years, Nickelodeon gave the producer continuous slaps on the wrist and simply paid for attorneys to cover up his behavior.

However, this time, the network has decided to cut ties with him and have agreed not to extend their deal with his company, Schneider’s Bakery. He is the latest show runner to part ways with Nickelodeon after sexual abuse allegations.
