New Breakthrough Artist: TEFO releases new single

TEFO (Truth, Enlightenment, Freedom, and Opportunity) is a fresh new artist and entrepreneur with a great deal of musical expertise (professional singer, songwriter, music producer). From the young age of seven, banging on his grandmother's kitchen pots, he was drawn to music and making beats. But it was Ryan Leslie’s beat-making videos on YouTube that really inspired him to follow music as a career path. At just ten years old TEFO was already collaborating with singer-songwriters/other artists and producing his own beats.

With his Caribbean/African descendent’s help and classic soul/R&B as an influence, he has created a very unique sound for himself, next to other artists in similar genres he really stands out. But it’s actually TEFO’s openness and descriptive imagery in his music that captures everyone’s attention. His latest single dropped on October 2, “Blow Me Away” and it does exactly that, blows you away.

The song was produced by J. Best and TEFO, written by TEFO, Anwar McDonald, J. Best, and the digital artwork/graphics in the music video was done by WeKr3ate Media. The song is lively and upbeat with hints of techno and a Caribbean vibe. Sadly at this time there is only a lyric video and acoustic video, although fans are hoping for an official music video soon. The acoustic video is so down to Earth and beautiful, it displays TEFO’s natural talent and shows another side of him that not a lot of artists today care to show. The song describes him being in a dark place and a beautiful soul taking him out of the darkness and they grow fond of each other. Some impactful lyrics include “When you walked this way, Took my pain away, Had some darker days, Then you brought the rays, How you make that face, When you say my name, It's the simple things, They mean everything, I feel the real thing coming, You've got the real thing, Cover my heart, Swallow me up, Blow me away.” TEFO shares some personal things in these heartwarming lyrics over a rhythmic techno beat that is sure to get you moving.
