Is Lebron James Considering Retirement?

Is LeBron Hames considering retirement?

For over a decade now, fans have been obsessing over the game play of LeBron James. He has been phenomenal on the court and has had so many accomplishments during his career from winning finals to rings to having his own sneakers!

Some consider him to be the best player the NBA has ever had. We all knew that there would be a day he would retire but it seems that this may or may not happen sooner than fans expected, that is if his kids decide. According to Bleacher Report “LeBron James has done it all in his 13-year career and is already regarded as one of the best players in NBA history, but the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar isn't looking at retirement in the near future.” James' mindset as of right now is not about retirement but he does know that the day will come. “I think later on in my 30s. It's kind of up to my kids, really,’ he said, per ESPN.com's Dave McMenamin. I've missed so much of my kids' tournaments and things of that nature when I'm playing. So, it's kind of up to them. They'll let me know when they're tired of seeing me go away."

It is normal for an athlete to feel like they’re missing their kids lives as though they are busy most of the time.

According to ESPN.com , James said "It's changed how I prepare my body throughout a long season," James said. "It's not like I go into the season saying, 'OK, I'm going to play into June.' I don't have that sense of entitlement, but I do prepare myself for the long haul. And saying, if I am fortunate enough to be a part of it, then it's more of a marathon and not a sprint for me. I've played a lot of basketball over the last few years and I've been fortunate to play at the highest level for a long time now. I have to listen to my body, and my body has done well for me."

LeBron has one of the most healthy bodies for a man his age due to his athletic ability so it's looking like his body won’t fail him anytime soon. It’s safe to say LeBron puts in his all in every game, so for him to walk away after this has been a lot of his life would be hard unless he literally had to.
