Golden Globe Award Winners 2018: The Complete List
The 75th Golden Globe Awards honored film and American television of 2017 and was broadcast live on January 7, 2018, from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. This year's host was none other than comedian and political commentator, Seth Meyers. The event gained headlines after it was revealed that the stars would be decked out in All Black in support of the #TimesUp movement; a movement created as a response to the increasing Hollywood exposure of industrial sexual predators. Actresses used the red carpet and the stage of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards to amplify their fight against sexual harassment in Hollywood and beyond. Also worth noting, actress and media mogul Oprah became the first black woman to receive Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement; her entire speech can be viewed below.
