Miami rap legend Trina has tied the knot in a surprise marriage according to sources back in 2024

Quietly starting a new chapter in her life, Katrina Taylor, tied the knot with her partner, Benjamin Leon Kearse Jr., aka Swurv, on May 22, 2024 according to court documents in Miramar, FL. 

The news of the announcement surfaced on June 25th, 2024. Fans across social media flooded the timeline with congratulations and well wishes. 

An interview with Carlos King for his podcast, Reality With the King, she opened up about her relationship and what makes it different.

“It’s just a breath of fresh air being secure, confident in knowing and believing and trusting in how I feel”, she said in response to the way she feels.

She also reveals in an interview with Keyshia Ka’oir some details about her marriage and the reason of why she did not get a prenup. 

“ My husband brings all of his money to me, so I'm in charge. He can’t spend a dime without my consent. He can’t spend a dime for nothing unless it goes through me.” said Trina

The rapper was formerly engaged to Raymond “Ray Almighty” Taylor in 2021 appeared with her on Love And Hip Hop Miami. However, the couple went their separate ways during the show.

On Caresha Please with Yung Miami, she said that she lost focus and didn't feel able to give herself to him. She also said that everything that happened to her at the time “tore my life apart”.
