Clemson Overcomes the Deadly COVID-19
The Clemson Tigers faced the Boston College Eagles last Saturday without their star quarterback Trevor Lawrence after he tested positive for COVID-19. Giving the starting position to the true freshman D.J. Uiagalelei, which is similar to how Trevor Lawrence got his start at Clemson. Turnovers and stagnant offense from Clemson put them in a
28-10 deficit at halftime, but Clemson would soon crank up the heat in the second half. With Clemson’s defense playing more aggressive and D.J. 's excellent pass precision the Tigers pulled off a comeback, winning 34-28.
D.J. Uiagalelei finished 30-41 342 yds and 2 touchdowns in his first start, and judging by reports we will be seeing how he does in his second start against 4th ranked Notre Dame as Trevor Lawrence is still recovering from Covid. We will see how the true freshman handles the pressures of going up against a top ranked team
