Chris Brown Arrested In Florida
Singer Chris Brown has been arrested again in Florida after he approached and attacked a man at a club for taking pictures of him.
After getting off the stage of his current concert tour, Brown was booked in the Palm Beach County jail on a Felony battery charge from a 2017 incident, where he allegedly attacked a photographer in Tampa, Florida. The photographer was Bennie Vines Jr., who was hired by a club to take photos during an event hosted by Brown at Club Aja.
Vines told police that Brown sat near him and that Brown motioned him to move away. Vines then told police that he moved away and attempted to tell Brown he was hired to take pictures of the crowd. Vines, along with witnesses, said that Brown approached him, assumed a fighting stance and punched him in his upper lip. Vines said that Brown hit him so hard, his lip broke open and he hit his head on the wall. Brown and his entourage then left the club. Vines has since been treated at Brandon Hospital and said he planned to sue the singer following the incident.
Tampa police detectives have since investigated and the case was then sent to the State Attorney’s Office. Brown was not physically present in court when he entered a plea via his attorney and when his attorney requested a “disposition/pre-trial conference”. Since the incident, Brown has been released after posting 2,000 bond after pleading not guilty.
Brown’s record of violence includes a guilty plea to felony assault for beating up his then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 and a 2016 arrest on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. He’s currently in the middle of his Heartbreak On A Full Moon Tour.
