Cardi B & Offset Secretly Eloped Long Before Public Proposal

Highly accomplished rapper Cardi B has made groundbreaking changes in the hip hop culture, and has also inspired many while doing so. Within a year, Cardi went from our favorite cast member of VH1’s Love and Hip Hop: New York to having her song “Bodak Yellow” as a #1 hit on the charts. On top of that, Migos rapper Offset proposed to her which ultimately lead to a happy, and soon pregnant Cardi B!

Despite all of her accomplishments, Cardi maintained the same lively yet relatable vibe that drew us to her when we first saw her on our tv’s. Because of this, so many people want to see Cardi win but have a hard time expressing that or relaying that message. For example, when Cardi accepted the engagement, those who claim to be a big fan of hers were saying that she shouldn’t have accepted the ring and that Offset wasn’t the right one for her.

The feedback from the engagement accompanied with the slander that came from Offset’s alleged infidelity forced Cardi B to keep details of her relationship under wraps.

Cardi initially hid her pregnancy from the world until she made a grand reveal during her performance of her new song, “Be Careful”, on Saturday Night Live. On the outside looking in it it seemed as if Cardi became pregnant long before the wedding, however, the rapper recently revealed that she and Offset have actually been married since September 20th, 2017.

Allegedly, Offset woke up one morning and asked Cardi to marry him. Upon approval, the couple had an officiant marry them in their bedroom. The couple says that they do plan to have a public ceremony but it will most likely be after Cardi gives birth to their baby girl. See the full tweet below:
