CARDI B MAKES A COMEBACK WITH NEW SINGLE “WAP” FT MEGAN THEE STALLION

After dropping a snippet earlier last week, Cardi B broke the internet and took over New Music Friday with the release of her latest single, “WAP” featuring the Hot Girl herself, Megan Thee Stallion. Now Cardi has never been estranged from having a hit, but this song has made history, quickly topping the charts and rising to #1 in over 20 countries across the world within the first week of its release.

As if the song wasn’t catchy enough, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion absolutely sealed the deal with the visual for the track. The visual opens up with the overview of a beautiful house with water fountain statues of both Cardi and Megan, and goes into various eye-catching scenes. It was immediately clear that the sex appeal in the music video would be extremely high once the scene of Megan and Cardi sexily lying amongst a swarm of snakes appeared. The sexual innuendos and the confident lyrics set the mood of this entire visual. Having a jungle-like theme, everything was on point from the catchy song, to the makeup and hair, the outfits, the choreography, the sceneries, and the cameos made by Kylie Jenner, Normani, Mulatto, Sukihana, Rubi Rose, and Rosalia.

Overall, the song and the video gets a 10/10. The misogynists of pop culture have tried to degrade the song by this powerful duo with their hypocritical views of women and vulgarity, but “WAP” is meant to empower.
