Jazz Artist Mike Phillips Releases 2020 Album
World renowned saxophonist and jazz artist, Mike Phillips released his 2020 album, Pulling Off the Covers in January. If you aren’t familiar with Mike Phillips, then you might be surprised to know how remarkable this man is. Not only was he the first musician signed to Michael Jordan’s Nike Jordan brand, but he has also toured with Michael Jackson, Prince, and Stevie Wonder. He has even been nominated for an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Jazz Artist award. Now after a five year hiatus from recording music, Phillips is back with his latest album, “Pulling Off The Covers.”
Pulling Off The Covers includes features from Stevie Wonder, Trombone Shorty, Brian McKnight, Naturally 7, Butterscotch, PJ Morton, Raheem Devaughn, and more.
