Gospel Duo, Juan & Lisa Winans’ Debut Single “It Belongs to Me”

GRAMMY-Award winning couple, Juan & Lisa Winans are set to release their debut single, “It Belongs to Me”, featuring the infamous Marvin Winans. Following the success of their 2018 Christmas EP, “It Belongs to Me” encourages people that all goodness is in store for them and that God will make a way. The message of the song couldn’t be more timely, now that the world is being affected tremendously by the pandemic. The couple refers to the song as a “declaration”, emphasizing the promises of God.

Both Juan and Lisa Winans have a track record of success. Juan Winans made his first musical debut in the Billboard #1 Gospel album, “Winans Phase 2: We Got Next.” Lisa Winans was ⅓ of the Contemporary Christian group, Out of Eden. Now that the millennial couple have formed into a gospel duo, they strive to make inspirational spiritual music that will help people in their time of need. “Our single, (“It Belongs To Me”) is more than a song to us, it’s the way we are aspiring to live. Jesus said that He came to give us abundant life. That’s a big, bold statement and just one of many promises offered to us as children of God. The couple can be seen on the big screen on an episode of NBC’s “SONGLAND” with Boyz II Men. The episode premiered on April 13th, but can be seen in rotation on NBC’s network, Juan and Lisa Winans’ single, “It Belongs to Me” will be released on all musical platforms on Friday, May 8th, 2020.
