A Different Perspective

Once upon a time, two women, one 36 years old and one 55 years old, had beef. It was tough, raw, and hard…..and well seasoned. What I am talking about is Nicki Minaj and Wendy Williams. Wendy Williams, indirectly, dissed Nicki Minaj and dragged her name through the mud on William’s talk show, The Wendy Williams Show. Williams stated, ““There’s this soon-to-be washed-up rapper who can’t keep my name out of its mouth. I love it. I sit here like, ‘OK, keep talking. Say some more.” Minaj responded, “There are people who report the news and there are people who do it with an evil intent in their heart, viciousness. And I pray for you because I know you’re hurting and I know you must be sick and humiliated.” In my opinion, what does it benefit two women to talk about each other in the media. If they really wanted to uplift each other, they would discuss it and realize that it doesn’t benefit them to tear each other down. Both women are in the public eye. Wendy has a son and Nicki will soon begin her family. These women need to be positive and set the example. At the end of the day, no one is going to remember anything other than that the women are being childish. Here is some advice: Grow up! It’s not always about ratings. The End.
