Roc Nation's New Artist Nicole Bus Drops Debut Album KAIROS

Roc Nation recently signed Dutch artist Nicole Bus, releasing her debut album KAIROS on Friday, October 18th. Nicole Bus made her debut with the single "You” earlier in the year, which made its way to the top of Billboard’s Adult R&B Song chart at No. 1 for five weeks. Bus also accompanied Common as an opening act on his Let Love Tour. Her new debut album KAIROS is definitely a tasteful album. Its natural groovy nature, emotional singing, and real instruments makes the album feel live. The album is mostly comprised of acoustics sounds, pianos, soft background harmonies, and smooth drum feels.

KAIROS, the title, translates to "appointed time" in Greek, which seems appropriate for her powerful arrival to the industry. “Everything is coming together at the right time,” says Nicole Bus. KAIROS is a compilation of 14 tracks with two separate remixes of “You” from Rick Ross and Ghostface Killah. Bus’ raspy low pitch voice is sweet and soulful, giving Miseducation of Lauryn Hill vibes. She grooves along each track, producing crisp style of new melodies. With its combination of raw ballads and energic bops, Bus’ debut album is nice and smooth, and she’s off to strong and solid start. Simply stated, the album feels good and is a sweet addition to R&B and soul playlists. Bus’ debut album KAIROS can be streamed on all platforms.
