9th Annual ATL HipHop Day Festival Recap

On October 5th-6th, Woodruff hosted the 9th Annual Hip Hop Day Festival. ATL’S Hip Hop Day festival has been the largest outdoor festival directly geared towards the hip hop community for the past eight years. From 10a.m to 9.p.m, the two day event consisted of music and fun all sponsored by MARTA, 1-800-411-PAIN, iHeat radio, Atlanta United FC, AIU Atlanta and the Atlanta Voice. In the past the festival has featured artists like T.I. Trouble, OJ Da Jouceman, PeeWee Longway and many more. This year was hosted by Atlanata’s own from hoodrich studios Dj Scream from 96.7 The Beat Atlanta. It was a fun packed two day festival free of charge.

A time where people from the surrounding communities can come together with their families and the culture that is hiphop. With music provided by DJ Kutt throat, DJ Razah, DJ Ace Boogie, and DJ Smiley. As well as special performances, vendors food tricks and even fun activities for the children.
