Lauren London Tattoo Tribute of Nipsey Hussle
Lauren London was one of many who paid tribute to the slain rapper by getting his face tattooed on their bodies. Lauren London is ensuring that her love for Nipsey Hussle will live on forever. Shortly after delivering one of her final goodbyes to Hussle, at the slain rapper’s Los Angeles memorial on Thursday, London showed off a new tattoo in honor of her boyfriend of six years. On Instagram, the 34-year-old actress displayed the inking of Hussle’s face on her forearm with a crown, racing flags, and the saying “God Will Rise” underneath —the same phrase that was tattooed on Hussle next to his right eye. “Real Love Never Dies,” she captioned photos. “When you see me, you will always see him #LoveYouHussle #TMC” Earlier in the day, London tearfully remembered Hussle, whom she referred to as “the love of my life,” in front of a crowd of 21,000 who had gathered to pay respects to the artist born Ermias Joseph Asghedom at the Staples Center. Hussle, 33, died on March 31 after being shot outside of his Hyde Park clothing store, the Marathon Clothing Company.
In her eulogy, London read a loving text message she wrote on Jan. 21 to her boyfriend, which she explained was written while Hussle was sleeping one morning something she said she “loved” to watch him do. The copy of the text message was also featured in the funeral’s pamphlet. “I want you to know I feel real joy in my heart when I’m around you. I feel safe around you. Protected. Like a shield over me when you’re around, I am totally myself when I’m with you,” London had written. “You’ve made me into more of a woman. You’ve given me an opportunity to really love a man,” said London, who was dressed in all white with black sunglasses. After reading the text message, London told the crowd, “His soul was majestic. He was the strongest man that I ever knew. A gentle father, a patient leader, a divine light. He was brilliant. He researched everything, completely self-taught, constantly seeking knowledge.”
Although Hussle is gone he will not be forgotten and especially in the heart of his wife as it shown on her skin.
