Black Girls Rock 2019
BLACK GIRLS ROCK! an annual award show that began on BET in 2006, is a show that honors black women in various industries, including medicine, entertainment/music, and even entrepreneurship. Each year, a black actress hosts that show and many well known faces are seen on the stage performing or in the audience. Nicey Nash, an emmy-nominated actress, comedian, and TV host, was selected as this year’s host. Her bright and bubbly personality was definitely showcased all night, between her jokes and the way that she honored the achievements of black women.

Some of the favorite looks of the night included Brandy, Ciara, Lala Milan, and Mumu Fresh, who all wore unique yet gorgeous dresses.
