Lindsey Lohan New Job

The Masked Singer, which is currently in production for its second season, is making its way to “the Land Down Under”, better known as Australia, with a well known guest. Lindsay Lohan, who is not always recognized for her triple threat talents, is a singer, dancer, actress, and owner of several clubs around the world. The Masked Singer, inspired by a South Korean show, made its debut in America on FOX earlier this year, but will start a new branch of the show in Australia, with Lindsay Lohan, Jackie O, Dannii Minogue, and Dave Hughes as the celebrity judges.

The Masked Singer features 12 celebrities who are hidden by over the top costumes, and are given the opportunity to showcase their singing and dancing abilities without their fame covering their talent. Each week, the masked performers sing a song of their choice, and compete to stay for one more week. After each performance, each of the judges give their opinion on the act, then try their best to guess what celebrity is underneath the act. Part of the reason why the show is so popular, is because it features stars whom you would never think of as being performers! Typically, the masked singers are paired in two, and are battling against each other, and at the end of the show the audience votes on their favorite act. The performer with the least amount of votes is given one final chance to help the audience guess who they are, and then their masked is removed.

Last season, there was a wide range of celebrities featured on the show, such as LaToya Jackson, Gladys Knight, Tori Spelling, and T-Pain (who won the series) , as well as the special judges: Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, and Nicole Scherzinger. Lohan has already expressed her excitement for the production, telling 10 Daily that “Each week will be so exciting to watch who performs and try to guess who's behind the masks. I feel honoured to sit on the panel and be part of such an amazing show." The exact release date for the Australian version of The Masked Singer has not been released, but we do know that it will be in September of 2019.
