Surviving R. Kelly Docuseries Returns

In January, Lifetime released a 6 part docuseries that aired over the span of 3 nights. The docuseries included interviews from different women that R. Kelly allegedly sexually assaulted. It also features other artist who has worked with Kelly in the entertainment industry.

Robert Kelly is known for his musical talent and his amazing voice. He left his mark on the music industry as an artist but has always had scandal and infamy attached to his name. His marriage with underage singer Aaliyah, accusations of him urinating on underage girls, and sex tapes that have recently come into evidence.

Kelly had avoided jail time after being acquitted of various charges brought against him. Between now and 2018, a wave of women have come forward as victims of R. Kelly and are ready to share their truth.

Season 2, Surviving R. Kelly: The Impact, is set to return but the airdate is still TBD. The impact will focus on significant progress in Kelly’s legal cases.
