The King of Indie Soul Eric Roberson New Track “Leave it In”
Eric Roberson just released a new single and visual entitled “Leave It In,” from his new upcoming album, Late Night Sessions. The King of Independent Soul and R&B has been an independent artist for the last 20 years. “Leave It In” is a classic a soulful upbeat track boasting about romance and passion. The two-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, producer, has now added CEO to his name after creating an online platform in 2018. Titled, “The Process”. The app is for musicians and creative thinkers which also includes exclusive content from Roberson’s creative process and music such as his EP “Earth Wind and Fire”.
The visuals for the single were shot in Chicago by collaborators Chris + Blaq, narrating a story of Roberson as the character “Erro,” a DJ who swindled singer Lauren Talese in a club away from her date. Erro serenades the woman he loves on a night out. “Give you my heart, I ain’t playing no games,” he croons expressively, dedicating his heart and soul to her. He repeats the lyrics, “Tonight I’m gonna leave it in, my heart,” as her performs the jazzy ballad throughout the evening, In addition to his new single, Roberson also has announced an upcoming tour celebrating his 10-year anniversary of his Grammy-nominated album Music Fan.
