YouTube Sensation by Day Bri Hall/ Rising R&B singer by Night La Hara

Following her last debut "Mindful", rising R&B singer-songwriter La Hara also known as YouTuber Bri Hall released a new single "Unlawful". Hall explains “La Hara definitely goes against the traditional beauty and perfection of the average beauty influencer.” Jack of many trades, Hall is a refreshing breath of fresh air. Being a viral sensation for beauty, art, vlogs, health and fitness, and so much more, Hall’s ability to transform into a vulnerable and expressive voice in R&B reveals the beauty of just being human.

In regards to her latest track, “Unlawful”, La Hara questions, "Have you ever experienced a love so powerful, yet the world wants to see it fail? Unlawful is about the choice to love and the fight that comes with it." The track begins with smooth acoustic chords. After the guitar loop ends, La Hara makes her sweet vocal appearance on the beat opening up calmly, “I like to fight a little dirty baby If I opened up and caved in Would you hurt me baby?” The video creatively mirrors the film Waiting To Exhale, with La Hara dressed in an outfit similar to Angela Bassett’s in the scene of her throwing her husband’s clothes out . The song continues to groove as she sings with a coolness, “Please don’t change, Please don’t stop When you leave it, breaks my heart I’ve been down, You’ve been hurt Since that day I, Put you first.” The track has many themes, but mostly it emphasizes self-love and worth as a woman in a relationship.
