Wendy Williams Husband Seeks Out Spousal Support
Wendy Williams and her second husband Kevin Hunter tied the knot on November 30,1997. It’s been said that Williams and Hunter met at a skating rink in 1994, they then found interest in one another and got married three years later. The couple’s first child Kevin Hunter Jr. was born in the 2000s. Hunter served as Wendy's manager and as an executive producer of The Wendy Williams Show since it debuted in 2008. After over 20 years of marriage, the couple decided to split. Williams cut all communication with Hunter personally and professionally. The married couple ha survived his shares of ups and downs and this was the last straw their marriage could withstand. Oops, this is going to be one ugly divorce. American television host Wendy Williams filed for divorce from her estranged husband Kevin Hunter on April 10th. Williams filed the divorce due to the allegations of Hunter’s infidelity. Hunter stepped out and had a baby with his alleged mistress Sharina Hudson. Hunter was fired from his executive producer role for The Wendy Williams Show. The pair also shares the Wendy Williams Productions which is a production company.
The couple were married for 21 years but things ended once Hunter had an alleged affair. Hunter and Williams has a 18 year old son named Kevin Hunter Jr. Williams asked for rehabilitative alimony, permanent alimony, and equitable distribution of all personal assets. Hunter responded to this by requesting that William pays for all of their son’s college tuition, as well as alimony, child support and legal fees. From the news we’ve gotten thus far, things seem to be getting pretty ugly with this divorce. Sources told TMZ and the couples’ son Kevin Jr was arrested for assault after punching his father, Kevin Hunter. This incident was reported to have happening in a store parking lot near their New Jersey home. Things were cool between them until they discussed Kevin demanding spousal support. Kevin Hunter Sr. also told Jr that Williams is “brainwashing” him. The conversation took a turn when Sr. allegedly put Jr. in a headlock where Jr. punched him in the nose to break loose. The cops are still investigating the incident between the two.
