Guitarist Norman Brown New Album “The Highest Acts of Love”
Grammy award-winning contemporary jazz/R&B guitarist/singer and producer Norman Brown released his new album, The Highest Act of Love, on February 22nd, 2019.
Norman Brown is a phenomenal jack of all trade’s artist. His knowledge of sound and fusion allows him to blend with many genres of music. Using jazz elements and combining R&B, pop and blues, Brown creates his own soulful sound. Brown has already sold over two-million albums in his career, collaborating with artist such as Brian McKnight, Miki Howard, Gerald Albright, Dave Koz, and many others. The album Highest Act of Love is a sweet taste of the musician’s graceful talent, blending different instrumentals of acoustic jazz sounds and remakes. From pieces with R&B legend Deniece Williams “Free”” to groovy guitar duet “Inside The Garden Of Peace And Love” with Paul Brown, this album is packed with great content. The album begins with “Inside the Garden Of Peace And Love” featuring amazing blues guitarist Paul Brown.
This track is a smooth jazz groove as the two dance around the sweet syncopation of the drum set and keys. Brown also includes another groovy collaboration, but this time with classic singer Deniece Williams. The two remake a beautiful acoustic jazz version of her hit song, “Free”. The track begins with a sultry guitar solo from Brown and glides into the sweet and calming vocals of Denise Williams.
