As we know, Wendy Williams has reportedly been in the hospital due to help complications of Graves’ disease. She says that she will recover soon and be back on the show in no time. Nick Cannon also spoke to her and she says that “the show may go on”.
The Wendy Williams Show has announced that Nick Cannon, 38, who has been a guest-host of the show since early February. Nick Cannon is also the host of a television show on MTV called Wild n’ Out. But it also seems that Sherri Shepard, Keke Palmer, actor Jason Biggs, comedian Michael Rapaport, and guest host Jerry O’Connell may also sit in the purple chair as Williams continues to work through her health.
Wendy is going to claim her purple seat in the near future and will be back hosting in no time. Williams is shocked that Cannon will take over the show because she says “it is like someone screwing around with my baby”. She has been continuously postponing her return for the third time. Williams has had several co-hosts that have been taking over the show because of her illness. The show is claimed to continuously air repeats, also original episodes that have different sorts of hosts for the past few weeks. Nick talks about Wendy, “her spirit was so big, it was so amazing”. Nick Cannon also mentions a powerful message to the fans, “we don’t want to bring that negative energy when you’re trying to heal.”
Although, this is not the first time that this illness for Williams has happened. She also had an episode in December 2018 and January of 2019. She went through thyroid problems again that set the whole episode off of her leaving several weeks of her show still today in February 2019.
It comes to the conclusion that people are starting to think that Nick Cannon is going to take over the Wendy Williams show. Rumors have it that Nick Cannon has said that he will not be taking control of the Wendy Williams show. Nick Cannon has made the rates and views skyrocket for the Wendy Williams Show. So the real question is, will Wendy Williams continue on with her show or let Nick Cannon take over.
It states that the Wild-n-Out guest host will host Wild-n-Out while Cannon is not on the show. He is at the point that he will still have to host his own shown after Wendy gets well. Nick Cannon does not mind being the host of the Wendy Williams show because he and Williams have had a love-hate relationship.
“As Wendy Williams Hunter previously shared, she fractured her shoulder and has been on the mend. Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves’ disease that will require treatment,” a statement read. “Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians, and as part of her care, there will be significant time spent in the hospital.”
Wendy has mentioned in an interview with Amy Robach from Good Morning America, she will take care of herself mentally first and do not worry about everything else. The question is, do you think Nick Cannon will be featured on the Wendy Williams Show and they just collaborate from there? Me personally, I think that it may become a good start up for different hosts to come on the show to get different opinions on situations that Wendy will talk about.
As of recently, a situation has happened where Wendy’s audience is starting to send rumors online that someone else besides Wendy will take on her show. Although several celebrities such as Andy Cohen and the Hunter family sent their condolences on Williams health.
It is exciting to know that Wendy Williams will be back on her show soon and will be feeling better for her audience. Wendy is trying to leave everything in the past and keep becoming a successful black woman with her personality and love for her show.
It is shown that Wendy Williams will not come back to her purple chair soon, but get well soon!
