2018 Soul Train Nominees

The Soul Train Awards has been around for roughly 30 years and it’s diversity is still in motion. The special airs November 17, 2018 with Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold being the hosts. The categories for 2018 nominees range from: Best New Artist, Soul Train Certified, Rhythm & Bars, and Album/Mixtape of the Year to name a few. You will see some of your favorite artists and songs nominated for a few of the these categories, such as Bruno Mars “Finesse” ft. Cardi B. “Finesse” is nominated for five awards, but Ella Mai is right behind them with “Boo’d Up” being nominated for three. The Carters are also nominated, I wonder if we will be blessed with their presence that evening. Speaking of being blessed, Snoop Dogg discovering his calling with the Bible of Love album which has the “Best Gospel/Inspirational” award. Chris Brown is also recognized for his Heartbreak on a Full Moon album. Earlier this year, he felt that he was snub a Grammy by not being nominated at all but hopefully winning “Best Dance Performance” and/or “Album/Mixtape of the Year” from the Soul Train family would be equally the same. Though the appearances and performances has yet to be revealed, we all know that the Soul Train Awards will always show up and show out!
