2018 SUMC Music Fest!
The 2018 SouthEast Urban Music Conference and Festival (Gulf Coast Edition) is set to happen this month! August 31 through September 2nd is when the event is planned to take place in Fairhope, Alabama. A joint work of the SUMC and That Rabbit Distribution, the festival seeks to bring together a wide variety of diverse musicians and entertainers. The theme for the 2018 conference is “Marketing Urban Music in the Digital Era”. Sony Music, The Orchard, I Heart Radio, Microsoft and Urban Plush Magazine are all sponsors of the three day event, and the different informational sessions given are being brought out and made possible by Spotify, Apple Music and more musical platforms.
Through the span of the conference, visitors will figure out how to advertise urban music in the digital time. Participants will find out about the most recent innovation being utilized as a part of the music business and how to connect with their audience. They will also learn about the pros of digital distribution and successful ways to gain platforms for their usage. The block party along with all of the performances will all go down at the Lionz Den, which is at 17236 Greeno Road, Fairhope, AL 36532. Past attendees of the conference include the likes of The Migos, Yung Joc, Rasheeda, Gorilla Zoe, DJ Drama and many more talented and significant names in the industry today. What a grand fellowship and learning experience!
