Tia Mowry-Hardrict Gives Birth To Baby Girl

Tia Mowry became a household name alongside her twin sister Tamera after starring in the hit 90’s show, Sister, Sister. For over a decade the two worked alongside each other in films like Seventeen Again and the Twitches series, earning the title of America’s favorite set of twins. However, in 2006, the pair decided to branch off into individual projects as Tia landed the lead role as Melanie Barnett-Davis in the Girlfriend’s spin-off, The Game. In May 2012, Mowry announced via her Twitter account that she would not be returning for the six season and simply guest starred in the series finale, revealing that Melanie and Derwin were happily married and that she was pregnant (and eventually blessed with a baby boy and a baby girl). While the twin thing was a cute and subtle reference to Tia’s own heritage, Melanie’s ending may have been a subtle prediction of Tia’s own future. Now, better known as Tia Mowry-Hardrict,the actress married fellow actor and longtime boyfriend, Cory Hardrict, on April 20, 2008 and the two later welcomed a son, Cree Taylor Hardrict, on June 28, 2011. She has since evolved into a lifestyle guru, cookbook author, and “quick fix” creator. Though, even with all of these titles,her main priorities include being a wife and a mother and it appears life has just gotten a little bit better for this superwoman! On November 8, 2017, Tia announced that she was pregnant with her second child via an Instagram post (see below). On May 5th, 2018, the couples welcomed a beautiful baby girl; (revealing the joyous moment in the same fashion as her initial announcement.

The actress recently revealed information about her struggles with getting pregnant, shockingly due to being diagnosed with Endometriosis, an abnormal growth of cells from the lining of your uterus that appear outside of the uterine cavity, at age 27. This disorder is known for causes fertility issues and after undergoing two surgeries, we are glad Tia finally got her wish of having another child.
