How will we protect our Florida students.....lets give teachers guns!

As expected and highly demanded, Florida legislation quickly starts to tackle the issue of Gun Control. State Senators signed off on a few bills that will help relieve pressure including an increased age to purchase firearms, a three-day waiting period for gun purchase, increased safety funding and mental health care. The bills also include a clause that teachers, parents, and students everywhere are outraged over and that is to arm the teachers. This is the worst idea this legislation could have come up with. You can’t fix the issues of gun with more guns. How will students feel safe knowing that any wrong outburst or classroom disagreement could end fatally. How would students feel safer knowing that weapons are in their learning environments? Guns don’t belong in schools’ period. New plan please!
