A Thin Line Between Love & Hate… Karreuche Tran Files A Restraining Order Against Chris Brown

Hold onto your seats Breezy fans; this one just might burst your bubble and any hopes of Karreuche and Chris working it out.

As of February 21st a new court mandate was put out regarding the ex couple. This mandate orders Christopher Brown, 27, to keep his distance from ex girlfriend Karrueche Tran. The mandate was presented after Tran revealed to the judge that Chris “told a few people that he was going to kill [her],” had physically assaulted her during their on-again, off-again relationship, and that the singer had even threatened to harm her friends following their abrupt split in 2015. The model also stated that Chris Brown “punched [her] in the stomach twice” and “pushed [her] down the stairs” several years ago (around the time of his probation for his previous case against singer Rihanna).According to the document, Tran fears Brown is “putting action behind his words’, possibly alleging to a video posted by Brown on january 31st of this year. Although he didn’t say any names he did note that, “if he couldn’t have her, then nobody else could”. (See video below)

The court order was issued on Friday (Feb. 17), and demands that Brown surrender any firearms or weapons until a March 9th hearing begins. He has also been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from not only Karrueche but her mother and brother as well and to not partake in any form of communication or contact with her.

Chris has already taken to social media to deny Tran’s allegations as he posted a comment on one of The Shade Room's Instagram pics.

However, a former neighbor of Chris Brown and Karrueche’s also weighed-in on the news of Tran’s restraining order against Brown by suggesting that Karrueche’s statements were in fact truthful and that she had even heard Breezy physically assaulting Tran on at least one occasion, prompting an altercation between herself and Brown in the past.
