Jamie Lynn Spears Goes Through Nightmare with Daughter, Maddie & an ATV.

The Zoey 101 alum Jamie Lynn Spears had the nightmare of her life when her daughter, Maddie was riding in an ATV last Sunday, February 5. The four wheeler flipped over into a pond and she was allegedly submerged under water for two minutes and was found unconscious before being airlifted to the hospital.

According to police reports, the 8-year-old was doing fine until she tried to avoid hitting a drainage ditch. A few media outlets reported that Spears and husband Jamie Watson were just a few yards away when the accident happened and ran to try and free her but rhe paramedics came within minutes and got her out safely.

Later, a family rep released a statement saying Maddie was "awake and talking” and that she “continued to receive oxygen and was being monitored closely but it appears that she hasn’t suffered any neurological consequences from the accident,"

Maddie was in the hospital for 5 days and released on Feb. 10. Spears took to Instagram and Twitter to thank her supporters for what they have done and to say her baby girl was coming home to continue to recover.

Sister, Britney Spears took to social media to express her gratitude.

"Grateful that Maddie was able to go home today... it's truly a miracle. Our prayers were heard, and they were answered! Thank you so much for all of your love and support this week. My family appreciates it more than you will ever know."

We are so glad Maddie is doing much better now and we hope she continues to have a speedy recovery.
