Lamar Odom Back in Rehab!

Well… it’s the road back to recovery with Lamar Odom again. The former NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers has been battling substance abuse for many years and nearly died back in 2015 when he overdosed in Las Vegas at a brothel.

Odom recently checked himself into a San Diego rehab facility just days after his divorce from Khloe Kardashian was finalized. Their deal with the judge was pending approval for a long time, so during Odom’s hospitalization and release from the hospital Kardashian was able to make medical decisions on his behalf.

The couple called off their divorce right after he came to from his coma to focus on his recovery, but decided to “fall back” on that idea for a minute. In May, Kardashian filed for divorce a second time, and now it is in its last stages.

A source shared with E! News “He has not fallen off the wagon, but he understands the importance of maintaining his sobriety.”

They say that Odom is checking into the facility to work on his “mental and physical health for the next chapter of his life.” He has to get back to his feet without his wife.
