2016 American Music Awards Nominations (Full List Inside)
The nominations for the 44th Annual American Music Awards have been revealed. Drake once again proves that 2016 is his year as he once again leads the pack of another award show with his record breaking 13 noms in one year, surpassing that of Michael Jackson who only received 11 noms in 1984. Other nominees include Rihanna with 8, Adele and Justin Bieber tied with 5, and both Beyoncé and Twenty One Pilots who are tied with 4 noms each. Another thing to note is that this year's nminations for Top Soundtrack includes Prince's 1984 soundtrack for Purple Rain (his first AMA nomination). The AMAs will be broadcasted live on ABC from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on November 20th at 8pm eastern. Viewers and fans can vote for Artist of the Year until November 14th at 8:59am Pacific time and New Artist of the Year until November 17th at 8:59pm Pacific Time.
