2016 Tony Awards Nominations (Full List Inside)

The nominations for the 2016 Tony Awards are in! The Tony Awards is a celebration of the best of the Broadway season. The list was revealed Tuesday morning live from the Diamond Horseshoe at the Paramount Hotel in New York. The years breakout musical goes to Hamilton who set a record with 16 total nominations, including Best Musical, Best Actor in a Musical (for both Lin-Manuel Miranda and Leslie Odom, Jr.), Best Actress in a Musical (for Phillipa Soo), and many more. The awards themselves will be handed out at the official ceremony on June 12th at the Beacon Theatre. This year’s event will be hosted by 2012 Tony winner and the host of The Late Late Show, James Corden.
